If you want to measure temperatures directly with resistance thermometers or thermocouples – without upstream transmitters and distributed at the measuring point – the Solidot XB6S temperature modules are the right slice for the XB6S slice series. Available with 4 or 8 temperature inputs.

🏭 Typical applications

Monitor process heat: capture heating zones on extruders, sealing jaws or ovens directly with the sensor.
Cooling circuits and hydraulics: keep an eye on supply and return, oil or bearing temperatures.
Eliminate transmitters: the sensor connects directly to the module – fewer components, less wiring in the cabinet.
Distributed measuring points: collect several temperature points close to the field and pass them to the PLC via the fieldbus.

🧩 Which variant?

Use the selection to choose 4 channels (XB6S-A40TM) for individual measuring points or 8 channels (XB6S-A80TM) when many temperature points come together at one station. For temperatures via transmitters (4–20 mA, 0–10 V), use the XB6S analog input modules.

🌐 Fieldbus connection

The modules are not standalone fieldbus devices: they plug onto an XB6S bus coupler for PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP. The coupler handles communication with the controller, and the modules exchange their data with it via the X-bus.

🔧 Mounting and dimensions

35 mm DIN rail, dimensions 106 × 72 × 25 mm. Pluggable terminal block with spring-clamp terminals – snap on and wire without tools.
