Solidot XB6S-2002 Coupler kit 2A version

The Solidot XB6S bus coupler forms the central interface between the controller and XB6S I/O modules. It enables reliable communication between the fieldbus and the connected input and output modules and ensures stable, fast data transmission throughout the entire system. Depending on the variant, the bus coupler supports common industrial Ethernet protocols such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP and can be seamlessly integrated into existing automation environments. This makes the XB6S platform ideal for mechanical engineering, packaging machines, conveyor technology, intralogistics and distributed production systems. The connected I/O modules are automatically recognized and supplied cyclically via the integrated backplane bus. The Solidot MT4-88B40I combines digital and analog I/O in one compact DIN-rail module and joins your network directly as a Modbus TCP node. One card, three signal types – and the master of your choice. 🏭 Typical applications Machine retrofit: Keep your existing controller and simply add the missing inputs and outputs over Ethernet – no wiring marathon back to the cabinet. Distributed signal acquisition: Capture switches, limit sensors and indicators via 8 digital inputs; switch valves, contactors and lamps via 8 digital outputs. Analog measurements: Read 4 current loops (4–20 mA) from pressure, level or temperature sensors – ideal for process and plant engineering.
