⚠️ Version information: B01 replaces A00
The C3351-B01 is the current successor to the C3351-A00. The key difference is significantly expanded memory: the B01 offers 4 MB program memory, 4 MB data memory, and 32 KB retentive data – compared to 1 MB each and only 1.5 KB retentive memory in the A00.
💡 Important when switching: The device profile of the A00 and B01 differ. In CODESYS and IO-Config, you must load the correct B01 device description file – the A00 file is not compatible. For version identification (side label on the device or IO-Config firmware info) and migration details, please refer to the manual.

💻 Programming with CODESYS 3.5
The C3351-B01 is programmed with CODESYS V3.5.19.70. All five IEC 61131-3 programming languages are supported: Ladder Diagram (LD), Instruction List (IL), Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD/CFC), and Sequential Function Chart (SFC). The CODESYS development environment is available as a free download from the ODOT website.
For configuration, online debugging, module selection, and firmware updates of the I/O modules, ODOT's IO-Config software is available. It communicates directly via the CPU's Ethernet interface and is also available as a free download.

🔌 Communication and interfaces
2 × Ethernet RJ45, 10/100 Mbit/s: Port 1 and Port 2 support switch cascading – useful when integrating the PLC into an existing network topology without an additional switch.
Modbus TCP Client/Server: The CPU connects as a client to up to 6 Modbus TCP servers simultaneously and accepts connections from up to 6 Modbus TCP clients at the same time. Distributed SCADA connections and mixed network topologies can be mapped flexibly.
RS-485 – Modbus RTU Master and Slave: Baud rates from 2,400 to 115,200 bps, Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII. As Master, up to 5 slave devices are supported; as Slave, 1 master device is supported.
🔧 Installation and wiring
Mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail, vertical orientation on a vertical surface. Push-in terminals (tool-free wiring). Wire cross-section: 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (AWG 24 – AWG 16). Supply voltage: 24 V DC (permissible range: 19.2 – 28.8 V DC, with reverse polarity protection).
