Kinco GL2070HE-LX 7" IoT Series widescreen capacitive HMI touch panel with Ethernet
Those looking for a compact, modern operator interface with integrated remote access —
without being locked into a proprietary ecosystem — will find the Kinco GL2070HE-LX a
capable 7" HMI from the GREEN Series 2nd Generation. Three serial COM ports, built-in
EdgeAccess2 remote maintenance and an IP65-rated front panel make it particularly suited
for applications where connectivity and remote accessibility are critical.
🏭 Typical applications
Machine retrofit with legacy protocols: Older systems with RS-232
or RS-485 interfaces can be connected directly — COM0 supports RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422
(switchable), COM1 provides a dedicated RS-485 channel, COM2 an additional RS-232 port.
No protocol converter required.
Remote maintenance without additional hardware: Via the
EdgeAccess2 platform, the HMI screen and connected PLCs can be monitored remotely,

The 7" TFT display resolves at 1024 × 600 pixels and renders 16.77 million colors. At
450 cd/m² brightness, the panel is designed for industrial environments with indirect
lighting and normal ambient light; use under direct sunlight is not specified. Contrast
ratio is 800:1, viewing angle 85/85/85/85° (left/right/up/down).
The operator surface is a capacitive acrylic touch panel. Multi-touch gestures
(pinch-to-zoom, scrolling in trend curves) are supported. The LED backlight is rated for
30,000 operating hours.
👆 Capacitive touch: practical notes
Capacitive panels respond to direct fingertips — a light touch is sufficient, no
pressure required. This reduces operator fatigue during extended use compared to resistive
panels. The acrylic surface is lighter than glass but more susceptible to mechanical
scratches; a screen protector is recommended for demanding environments.
⚠️ Important note: Thick protective gloves, wet fingers or heavily
contaminated hands can impair touch recognition. For environments with regular glove use

live, and PLC programs transparently accessed, read and modified — without sending a
service technician on-site. This directly benefits anyone offering service level agreements
with fast response times.

Pre-configured drivers for all common PLC manufacturers are already integrated: Siemens
S7-200/300/400/1200/1500 and LOGO!, Mitsubishi FX, Omron, Beckhoff TwinCAT ADS, Xinje
