The Kinco G100E2-WIFI-PR01 is designed for machine and plant operators who need a reliable HMI in environments with extreme temperatures. With an operating range of −20 °C to +70 °C, the 10.1” panel handles outdoor installations, cold storage, steel mills, and other thermally demanding applications without external heating or cooling.
🏭 Typical applications
Outdoor installations: Cold winters and hot summers are no obstacle – the G100E2-WIFI-PR01 operates reliably from −20 °C to +70 °C.
Cold storage and refrigeration logistics: Food processing, cold warehouses or refrigerated transport – the three-proof coating on the PCB prevents condensation damage during rapid temperature changes.
Foundries, metalworking, furnaces: High ambient temperatures and strong electromagnetic interference are reliably shielded by the all-metal housing.
Remote access via Wi-Fi or Ethernet: With built-in WLAN and two independent Ethernet ports, the HMI can be integrated directly into the network and parametrized remotely via DTools – without physical access to the machine.
🖥️ Display and touch
The 10.1” TFT display (1024 × 600 pixels, 16.7 million colors) provides a contrast ratio of 800:1 at 250 cd/m² brightness with an 85° viewing angle in all directions. LED backlight lifetime exceeds 30,000 hours.
🧤 Resistive touch – ideal for gloves and wet environments
The device uses a 4-wire precision resistive network with a glass surface (surface hardness 3H). TP+LCD fully integrated technology provides haptic feedback that closely resembles capacitive touchscreens in feel and appearance.
💡 Note: Works with safety gloves or wet fingers. No multi-touch (no pinch/zoom). For capacitive multi-touch: choose a capacitive model.
🔌 Interfaces and connectivity
2 × Ethernet (LAN0 + LAN1): Two independent 10/100 Mbps ports for network separation or redundant connection.
Wi-Fi (WLAN): Integrated WLAN for wireless remote maintenance and program upload.
COM0 (RS232/RS485/RS422), COM1 (RS485/RS422/CAN), COM2 (RS232): Three serial ports with CAN bus support on COM1.
1 × USB Host: For USB drives (program upload/download) and external peripherals.
USB Slave: Direct PC connection for programming and diagnostics.
🌐 Remote access and network services
For remote monitoring or updates, the combined Wi-Fi + dual Ethernet setup allows programs to be transferred wirelessly via WLAN or over Ethernet directly from a PC. No separate WLAN router is needed if an existing Wi-Fi infrastructure is available.
🔗 PLC compatibility
DTools V4.1 (and above) includes drivers for over 60 PLC types – including Siemens S7-200/300/400/1200/1500, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, Omron, and all Kinco controllers. Existing systems can be upgraded with a modern operator panel without replacing the PLC.
