The inverters in this category are so compact that they can be mounted on a DIN rail in the control cabinet.
Versatile compact frequency inverter from Kinco for driving asynchronous three-phase motors (three-phase). The KC100 is the latest frequency converter model from Kinco and was introduced in 2024. With the KC100, Kinco is passing on positive price developments in power electronics components to end customers without compromising on quality, reliability or function.Compared to the previous CV20 series, this model offers the following improvements:AVR voltage regulation, to compensate for fluctuating mains voltages, e.g. for use in developing countriesVector controlS-curve acceleration for smooth starting and braking, e.g. for positioning or inertial loadsIntegrated brake chopper for braking inert loadsAuto-tuning of motor parameters for smoother motor operationFan control according to cooling requirements (instead of continuous operation)Better overcurrent suppression (automatic speed reduction), to avoid shutdowns with errorsSpeed tracking, determination of the current motor speed and start from the current speedReal Modbus RTU protocol (RS-485) for parameterization (the predecessor CV20 uses a non-standardized function code 41 for permanent parameterization)Maximum frequency 600 Hz for high speed applicationsSimple connection of an external control unit via extension connectionSpring terminals I/O terminal for quick wiring, e.g. of series devicesThe following functions are also available with the KC100 (comparable to CV20):Frequency setting via frequency table with 8 values via 3 digital inputs (CV20 = 15 values with 4 inputs)Frequency specification via analog input 0 - 10 V, 0 - 20 mAFrequency specification via Modbus RTUFrequency specification via PID control (frequency inverter as actuator for pumps, for example)Frequency specification via pulse input up to 50 kHz (new)Known limitations:No integrated EMC filter, external EMC filter requiredDigital inputs can only be used as relay input / NPN input (minus-switching)

The GD27 from INVT is a flexible and compact frequency inverter that is ideal for use in series machines.STO function (SIL 2) for safe shutdown and requirements in accordance with the Machinery Directive Built-in EMC filter (C2 for 230 V, C3 for 400 V) Suitable for three-phase asynchronous and synchronous motors Integrated brake chopper for inertial generative loads GD27 models with 230 V and 0.4 kW or 0.7 kW are passively cooled and have no fan The spring terminals for the I/O on the front are very suitable for quick wiring in series machines Note: The digital input terminals are NPN (negative switching). They must therefore be controlled with a relay output or NPN output. Alternatively, the control commands can also be transmitted via Modbus RTU (2-wire). This saves wiring work and increases the variety of functions that can be addressed via the control unit. If you require digital inputs in PNP version (positive switching), the INVT GD20 is well suited.
