The Solidot XB6S bus coupler forms the central interface between the controller and XB6S I/O modules. It enables reliable communication between the fieldbus and the connected input and output modules and ensures stable, fast data transmission throughout the entire system.

Depending on the variant, the bus coupler supports common industrial Ethernet protocols such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP and can be seamlessly integrated into existing automation environments. This makes the XB6S platform ideal for mechanical engineering, packaging machines, conveyor technology, intralogistics and distributed production systems.

The connected I/O modules are automatically recognized and supplied cyclically via the integrated backplane bus. The modular structure allows flexible expansion and adaptation to different applications - from simple digital signals to analog measured values or special modules.

Thanks to its compact design for the DIN rail, industrial-grade design and simple commissioning, the XB6S bus coupler offers a reliable solution for decentralized automation concepts in demanding environments.
