Wet and splash-prone environments: Water treatment, laundry facilities, cold storage or cleanroom environments — wet fingers do not affect a resistive touchscreen.
Machine control and plant retrofit: Keep existing PLCs, modernize the operator interface. Drivers for Siemens S7, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff and over 60 other PLC models are already integrated.
Cost-efficient new installations: Anyone looking for a full-featured HMI solution without high upfront costs gets remote maintenance, data logging, recipe management and alarm management all in one device.
The HMI is programmed using the free Kinco DTools Pro software. PLCs, variable frequency drives and all other devices to be visualized or controlled can be connected via Ethernet and serial interface.
The device communicates with over 60 PLC models, including Siemens S7-200, S7-1200/1500, S7-300/400, LOGO!, Modbus RTU/TCP (Master and Slave), Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi FX, Beckhoff ADS, BACnet and many more.

The F2100E2 is equipped with a resistive touchscreen. Resistive panels respond to mechanical pressure — regardless of whether the operator is wearing protective gloves or has wet fingers. This makes it the first choice for production environments where gloves are required, or areas with high humidity (e.g. food processing, cleanrooms, outdoor use).
💡 Note: Resistive touchscreens do not support multi-touch. Users who need finger gestures such as pinch-to-zoom or scrolling in diagrams will find this functionality in the capacitive variant Kinco F2100HE2-PX.
