You want to capture or output 4 analog signals where they occur — and provide them over the existing Ethernet, without a fieldbus or an extra analog card in the main cabinet. The MT4 analog module packs electronics, two network ports and 4 channels into one housing 25 mm wide, available as voltage or current version.
🏭 Typical applications
Process values onto the network: read pressure transmitters, level probes or flow meters on site and provide them as registers via Modbus TCP — for the PLC, the HMI or a control system.
Setpoints for drives and valves: set speed or position via 0 – 10 V or 4 – 20 mA without routing an analog channel back to the main cabinet.
Data acquisition on a PC: bring measured values straight into a PC application or data-logging system that speaks Modbus TCP — no PLC required.

MT4-A40I: 4 analog current inputs: 4 – 20 mA or 0 – 20 mA
MT4-A04V: 4 analog voltage outputs: −10 V to +10 V, −5 V to +5 V, 0 – 10 V or 1 – 5 V
MT4-A04I: 4 analog current outputs: 4 – 20 mA or 0 – 20 mA
The channels have a resolution of 16 bit. You select the range per channel; the values are available as Modbus registers.

🔗 Compatibility
The MT4 registers as an ordinary Modbus TCP server and therefore works with practically any Modbus TCP master — a CODESYS controller, a PLC with Modbus TCP client, an HMI or PC software. Integration into CODESYS V3.5 is documented step by step in the manual, including channel mapping. No device description file, no vendor software, no licence.
🔧 Mounting and commissioning
The module clips onto a 35 mm DIN rail. The terminal blocks are pluggable — you wire them up in the cabinet and plug them on afterwards. The MT4 is configured entirely in the web browser: IP address, connection timeout and the behaviour of the outputs when the connection is lost (clear or hold). Its factory IP address is 192.168.1.120; the reset button takes you back to that state at any time.

Solidot (Nanjing Solidot Electronic Technology) has been building remote I/O and fieldbus components for industrial series use for years. The MT4 carries the CE mark and is the Modbus TCP sibling of EC4 (EtherCAT), EI4 (EtherNet/IP), PN4 (PROFINET) and CC4 (CC-Link) — same housing, same terminals, just a different bus. spstiger is the importer of the series in the EU; technical questions are answered by us directly, without a detour via the manufacturer.
