The Solidot MT4-88B40I combines digital and analog I/O in one compact DIN-rail module and joins your network directly as a Modbus TCP node. 🏭 Typical applications
Machine retrofit: Keep your existing controller and simply add the missing inputs and outputs over Ethernet – no wiring marathon back to the cabinet.
Distributed signal acquisition: Capture switches, limit sensors and indicators via 8 digital inputs; switch valves, contactors and lamps via 8 digital outputs.
Analog measurements: Read 4 current loops (4–20 mA) from pressure, level or temperature sensors – ideal for process and plant engineering.
Distributed plants: Use the two Ethernet ports to daisy-chain multiple modules and save a long cable run back to the cabinet.

Channel-level green status LEDs: the state of every channel can be read right at the terminal block – diagnostics without a meter.
🌐 Modbus TCP with built-in switch
The module operates as a Modbus TCP server (slave) and works with virtually any Modbus TCP master. Two RJ45 ports with an integrated switch (100 Mbps) let you daisy-chain several devices without an additional network switch. Function codes 0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x0F and 0x10 are supported for reading and writing coils and registers.
🔗 Master compatibility
As a standard Modbus TCP node, the MT4-88B40I runs with common controllers and software environments. Integration with CODESYS V3.5 is documented step by step in the manual – including channel mapping for digital inputs, digital outputs and analog inputs as well as range configuration.

Snap mounting on 35 mm DIN rail, vertical installation, IP20 protection (cabinet/indoor)
Screwless push-in spring terminals, operated with a flat screwdriver ≤ 3 mm, strip length 10 mm
Full configuration via web browser: IP address, connection timeout and output behaviour on connection loss (clear/hold) are configurable
