This 10.1" HMI from the new F2 Series (2025) runs on the free software Kinco DTools Pro, connects out-of-the-box with all common PLC brands, and includes remote maintenance, OPC UA and VPN as standard — at no extra cost and with no licensing model.
🏭 Typical Applications
Machine control and visualization: Display speed, temperature, pressure and counters on a clear operator interface — accessible to users without IT expertise. Simple screens can be built in just a few hours with DTools Pro.
Plant retrofit: Keep existing PLCs, modernize only the operator interface. Built-in drivers for Siemens S7-200/300/400, Mitsubishi FX and Beckhoff make connecting to existing hardware straightforward.
Data acquisition with touch analysis: Trend curves, XY diagrams and histograms can be zoomed and scrolled directly on the touchscreen using pinch gestures — ideal for process analysis right at the machine.
Remote maintenance without router configuration: The built-in VPN function and EdgeAccess platform enable remote access to running systems — even at customer sites without a static IP address.
🖥️ The capacitive glass touch panel with 1280 × 800 pixels, 350 cd/m² brightness and 16.7 million colors delivers crisp, responsive operation. The front panel is rated IP65 — suitable for mounting directly on machine enclosures or in control cabinet doors.
👆 Capacitive Glass Touch: Advantages and Notes
The capacitive glass touch enables true multi-touch: diagrams and trend curves can be zoomed and scrolled with finger gestures, map views panned intuitively, or distances measured with a two-finger pinch. The glass surface is robust, more scratch-resistant than film, and easy to clean.
⚠️ Important selection note: Capacitive touchscreens detect only the electrical conductivity of skin. Thick protective gloves or wet fingers may impair detection. If operators regularly wear protective gloves or the device is used in a wet environment, we recommend the resistive alternative Kinco F2100E2.
🔌 Versatile Connectivity
With 2 × Ethernet (RJ45, 10/100 Mbit), three serial ports (COM0: RS-232/RS-485/RS-422, COM1: RS-485, COM2: RS-232), USB Host and USB Slave (program download), plus an integrated audio output, the F2100HE2-PX is ready for virtually any industrial environment. USB cameras and IP cameras can also be connected.
🌐 Integrated Network Services
For users who want to consolidate data from multiple sources or connect systems across different manufacturers, OPC UA (Client & Server) is the right choice. For standard PLC connectivity, Modbus RTU/TCP (Master and Slave) and BACnet are available. NTP handles time synchronization, and the built-in VPN function provides secure remote access — without external hardware or cloud subscription.

Pre-configured drivers for all major PLC brands are already included: Siemens S7-200/300/400/1200/1500 and LOGO!, Mitsubishi FX, Omron, Beckhoff TwinCAT ADS, Xinje XD/XL and XC, Kinco PLC and Codesys V3-based controllers. Users with existing systems can typically select a matching driver in DTools Pro immediately — no manual protocol configuration required.
