⚠️ Remaining stock. The XB6 series is being phased out. Its successor is the XB6S temperature module from the XB6S series. While stock lasts you can still get XB6 — for extending an existing installation that is often exactly what you want, because coupler and modules have to match.

🌡️ Temperature inputs for thermocouples and RTDs

  • XB6-A40TM: 4 channels

  • XB6-A80TM: 8 channels

Thermocouples type K, J, E, S and B as well as Pt100 and Pt200 RTDs, in 2 or 3 wire connection. Sensor type and range are set per channel in the controller project — you do not need a separate module per sensor type.

⚙️ Series characteristics

  • 5 V backplane bus, supplied with 18 – 36 V DC through the power module in the coupler kit

  • -10 °C to +60 °C operating, -20 °C to +75 °C storage, 95 % relative humidity without condensation, IP20

  • 35 mm DIN rail, pluggable spring-loaded terminals, a green LED next to every channel

  • Module 106 x 73 x 25.7 mm, coupler and power module 106 x 61 x 22.5 mm

Technically XB6 is not a risk: the series has been in the field for years, the modules are mature and the documentation is complete. Manuals, GSDML, ESI and EDS files, EPLAN macros and 2D and 3D models are in the downloads section of this page.
