The 10-inch workhorse with the large memory: the Kinco F2100E2 MAX brings 64 GB flash and 2 GB RAM instead of 8 GB and 1 GB. Intended for plants that keep measured values in the device over long periods or manage hundreds of recipes locally.
🏭 Typical applications
Network separation with gigabit: LAN0 at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s for the upper-level network, LAN1 at 10/100 for the machine network — the standard case in machine building.
Legacy serial equipment plus network: three COM ports connect drives, scales and Modbus RTU nodes while the controller stays connected over Ethernet.
Retrofit without replacing the controller: over 60 PLC drivers in DToolsPro, symbolic tags straight from the Siemens TIA Portal — the operator interface is renewed, the PLC stays.
Remote access without extra hardware: built-in VPN and EdgeAccess 2.0 — access to the panel and pass-through to the PLC, with no additional router in the cabinet.
🖥️ Display and performance
The 10.1" TFT with 1024 × 600 pixels and 350 cd/m² shows process screens at a size that stays readable from two to three metres away. The quad-core ARM at 1.8 GHz with 1 GB RAM carries pages with many live values without noticeable delay when switching screens.

🧤 Resistive touch: for gloves and damp environments
The 4-wire resistive touch responds to mechanical pressure. It works with safety gloves, with wet fingers and with any stylus — exactly where capacitive panels give up.

The MAX is the memory upgrade of the F2100E2: 64 GB flash instead of 8 GB and 2 GB RAM instead of 1 GB. Display, CPU, housing and interfaces are identical.
When it pays off:
Trend archives over long periods: if you keep measured values in the device for months instead of exporting them, 8 GB fills up quickly. 64 GB moves that limit considerably.
Recipe management with many records: hundreds of product variants with dozens of parameters each are then held entirely locally — even when the network is down.
Large projects with many screens and bitmaps: 2 GB RAM keeps more pages in memory at once, so switching stays fluid.
💡 When it does not pay off: for a normal machine visualisation with operating screens, an alarm list and a short trend buffer, 8 GB and 1 GB RAM are sufficient. In that case the F2100E2 is the more economical device.
🌐 Protocols and PLC compatibility
If you need to merge data from different sources or visualise plants across vendor boundaries, the drivers shipped with Kinco DToolsPro do it directly — no separate communication processor, no licence fees. The software is free.
