If you need a 7" operator panel with true HD resolution and one network port is enough, the Kinco F2070E is the most affordable device in the F2 premium series — with the higher-resolution display of the two 7-inch models, three serial interfaces and the free DToolsPro engineering software.
🏭 Typical applications
Connecting legacy serial equipment: three COM ports — RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 — cover old drives, scales, counters and Modbus RTU nodes at the same time. The most affordable entry in the series with three serial interfaces.
Retrofit without replacing the controller: over 60 PLC drivers ship with DToolsPro — Siemens S7, Mitsubishi MELSEC, Beckhoff TwinCAT. The existing controller stays, only the operator interface is renewed.
Compact and special-purpose machines: a 192 × 138 mm cut-out and 37 mm mounting depth fit shallow cabinet doors and narrow control panels.
Harsh environments: full protective coating on the PCB (three-proof), -10 to +60 °C and IP65 at the front — suitable for damp and dusty areas.

The 7" TFT with 1024 × 600 pixels is the higher resolution of the two F2 seven-inch models — roughly 60 % more pixels on the same area than an 800 × 480 panel. At 450 cd/m² the display stays readable in brightly lit halls. The quad-core ARM at 1.8 GHz with 1 GB RAM is the same as in the large F2 models — compute power does not scale down with display size.

🧤 Resistive touch: for gloves and damp environments
The 4-wire resistive touch responds to mechanical pressure. It works with safety gloves, with wet fingers and with any stylus — exactly where capacitive panels give up.
💡 No multi-touch, no swipe gestures. If you need pinch-to-zoom in trend charts, choose Kinco F2100HE2-PX (10,1", kapazitiv).

Kinco fits the F2070E with a 1024 × 600 display, but the higher-numbered F2070E2 with only 800 × 480. The E2 denotes the second Ethernet port, not a newer device generation — both are the same series with the same CPU.
F2070E: 1024 × 600, 1 × Ethernet, 450 cd/m² — the sharper display
F2070E2: 800 × 480, 2 × Ethernet (LAN0 gigabit), 400 cd/m² — the network separation
💡 HD and two separate networks is not available at 7 inches. If you need both, change size: F2100E2 with 10.1", 1024 × 600 and two LAN ports.
🌐 Protocols and PLC compatibility
If you need to merge data from different sources or visualise plants across vendor boundaries, the drivers shipped with Kinco DToolsPro do it directly — no separate communication processor, no licence fees. The software is free.
