If you need to capture or output analog signals – reading sensors or driving actuators – and want to do it in the field instead of through expensive analog cards in the PLC, the Solidot XB6S 4-channel analog modules are a flexible series for the XB6S slice family. Depending on the variant: input or output, current or voltage, single-ended or differential – up to the combo module that handles both current and voltage on the same device.
🏭 Typical applications
Read sensors: capture pressure, level, flow or temperature (via transmitters) as 0/4–20 mA or 0–10 V.
Drive actuators: feed a clean analog signal to proportional valves, VFD setpoints or control drives.
Mixed signals: with the combo modules, current and voltage on the same module – switchable per channel, no second module needed.
Decentralised: capture or output four analog points close to the field – ideal for smaller, distributed measuring points.

Current: 0–20 / 4–20 mA (inputs also −20 – +20 mA); voltage: −10 – +10 / 0–10 / −5 – +5 / 0–5 / 1–5 V DC.

5 V DC supply via the X-bus, status LED per channel, IP20, −20 to +60 °C.
🔌 Connection technology
Pluggable terminal block with spring terminals, backplane communication via the X-bus to the XB6S coupler. Snap on and plug in without tools.
🌐 Fieldbus connection
The analog modules are not standalone fieldbus devices: they plug onto an XB6S bus coupler, which handles the connection to PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus and other protocols. You capture or output the analog signals right in the field and transmit them over your existing fieldbus.
