If your PC does not have a serial interface, you can use this adapter to connect the THINGET XC PLC to the PC via USB. You can use it to perform program downloads and data monitoring. Also the serial access from the PC via Modbus RTU for example with a Scada system you can realize with this adapter.
You still need the programming cable.
This adapter supports Windows 7 and Windows 8.
