🏭 Typical applications
- Connect serial devices: CT-5321 with RS-485/RS-232/RS-422 as Modbus RTU/ASCII client or server or for free protocols.
- Build a CANopen network: CT-5331 as CANopen master for up to 16 slaves.
- Control PROFIBUS devices: CT-5341 as PROFIBUS DP master (DP-V0/V1), up to 125 slaves with repeaters.
- Split a station: CT-5711 (master) and CT-5721 (slave) extend the expansion bus to up to 5 stations, each max. 8 m apart.

Important: every module string – on the C3351 / C4374 PLC or on a CN bus coupler – ends with the CT-5801 end module. Odot lists it as a mandatory module.
