Odot ODOT-S7MPI V2.0 - Ethernet access to Siemens communication

In many existing systems, Siemens controllers communicate via PPI, MPI or PROFIBUS interfaces, such as older S7-200/300/400 systems or CNC controllers. These serial protocols are difficult to use directly in modern IT/Ethernet environments, for example for production monitoring, MES connection or SCADA data access. The Odot ODOT-S7MPI V2.0 solves precisely this practical integration requirement by converting PPI/MPI/PROFIBUS communication into Ethernet protocols and thus bringing data directly into modern networks.

The S7MPI can be connected directly to the communication port of the PLC without blocking additional programming ports. Data access for host systems, HMI clients or production management software is possible via S7 Ethernet or Modbus TCP without having to change existing PLC code.
