Odot DPM01 - Integration of grown fieldbus structures
PROFIBUS-DP and Modbus RTU continue to work reliably in many existing systems. In retrofit projects or system expansions, however, the task often arises of connecting both communication worlds in a structured way without replacing the existing architecture.
The Odot DPM01 connects Modbus RTU devices (RS485/RS422/RS232) directly to PROFIBUS DP networks. This allows existing sensors, energy meters or third-party units to be integrated cleanly into existing control systems.
