Odot ODOT-S1E1 V2.0 - Easily connect serial field devices to the Ethernet
Many systems still contain serial devices with RS232/RS422/RS485 interfaces, such as older sensors, display devices or field modules. These are often difficult to integrate directly into modern Ethernet-based automation networks. The Odot ODOT-S1E1 V2.0 Serial Gateway provides a remedy here by seamlessly connecting serial interfaces with TCP/UDP Ethernet and thus enabling network-compatible integration.
The S1E1 is particularly suitable when existing serial components are to be integrated into modern control environments (e.g. PLCs, servers, IoT gateways) or made accessible via Ethernet without expensive hardware conversions or complex protocol conversions.
