If you want to operate a machine or plant from a separate computer, an industrial PC board or an HMI without a display, you only need one thing: a rugged touch display that fits into the control cabinet door. That is exactly what the Kinco G2100H-CTP is — a 10.1" industrial touch monitor in a metal housing with 1280 × 800 pixels, capacitive multi-touch and IP65 front protection.
⚠️ Important classification note: The G2100H-CTP is not an HMI. It has no control logic, no PLC drivers and no configuration software — it displays what another source provides and returns touch input via USB-C. If you are looking for a programmable operator panel, see the Kinco G2100E of the G2 series.
🏭 Typical applications
Operator interface for an industrial PC: The iPC sits inside the cabinet, the interface sits in the door. HDMI and USB-C are enough for image and touch — no additional driver required.
Display for an HMI without a screen: Combined with the Kinco xF-SiHMI01 you get a two-part operator panel: processing unit on the DIN rail, display in the door.
Second operator station on an existing plant: Mirror an existing signal at a second location without a second licence or a second project.
Display for Raspberry Pi and single-board computers: HDMI output, USB-C for touch, 24 V DC from the cabinet supply.
🖥️ Display
10.1" TFT with a 217 mm × 135 mm active area and 1280 × 800 pixels (16:10)
16.7 million colours, contrast ratio 1000:1, brightness 280 cd/m²
Viewing angle 80° / 80° / 80° / 80° (left / right / up / down)
LED backlight with a rated life of 30,000 hours
👆 Capacitive multi-touch
The touch panel is capacitive and multi-finger capable — swiping, zooming and scrolling work just like on a tablet. Touch data is returned via the USB-C port and registers on the computer as a standard input device, without driver installation.
⚠️ Important note: Thick protective gloves or wet fingers can impair detection. If you work with gloves, a resistive operator panel is the better choice.
🔌 Connections
1 × HDMI (1.3) — digital video signal
1 × VGA — analogue video signal for older sources
1 × USB Type-C — touch feedback
3-pin screw terminal block — FG / GND / DC 24 V
Video processing is handled by a Realtek single-chip monitor IC. All connections are located on a single strip at the rear.
🔧 Mounting and environment
Rear panel mounting into a 192 mm × 138 mm cut-out, fixed with mounting clamps
Outer dimensions 250 mm × 169 mm × 33 mm, weight 1.2 kg
Metal housing, passive cooling without a fan
IP65 front protection (4208-93), conformal coated PCB for harsh environments
Operation -10 °C to +50 °C, storage -20 °C to +60 °C, humidity 10 – 90 % non-condensing
Supply 18 – 28 V DC, 15 W at 24 V, power interruptions of up to 3 ms are bridged
Vibration tested at 10 – 500 Hz, 30 m/s², one hour each in X, Y and Z direction
🏷️ Manufacturer and reliability
Kinco Automation is an established manufacturer with years of experience in developing HMI and drive technology for the global industrial market. The G2100H-CTP is CE certified (EN 61000-6-4:2007+A1:2011, EN 61000-6-2:2005), withstands 500 V AC test voltage for one minute and reaches an insulation resistance of more than 50 MΩ at 500 V DC. Kinco devices are in use at well over 100 spstiger customers in Germany.
💡 A comparable monitor with Full HD and considerably higher brightness is the Lilliput TK1019/T with 1920 × 1200 pixels and 1500 cd/m².
