Product information "Braking resistor for frequency inverter 390 W 150 Ohm green"
For frequency inverters with built-in brake chopper. Resistors are connected to these choppers to dissipate energy from the braking of the motor. This prevents an overvoltage cut-off when the motor feeds current back into the DC link as a generator.
Use braking resistors if your load has a high moment of inertia and the frequency inverter goes into the fault state (overvoltage) during braking (deceleration).
390 W are well suited for inverters up to 2.2 kW, but can also be used for larger frequency inverters.
150 Ohm are well suited for single-phase frequency inverters of any power and three-phase frequency inverters from 2.2 kW (depending on manufacturer and model).
