For frequency inverters with built-in brake chopper. Resistors are connected to these choppers to dissipate energy from the braking of the motor. This prevents an overvoltage shutdown when the motor feeds current back into the DC link as a generator.
Use braking resistors if your load has a high moment of inertia and the frequency inverter goes into the error state (overvoltage) during braking (deceleration).
250 W are well suited for inverters up to 1.5 kW, but can also be used for larger frequency inverters.
250 Ohm are well suited for single-phase and three-phase frequency inverters of any power.
