Product information "Thinget G-Box GSM/GPRS modem"

GSM/GPRS modem for communication with the Thinget XC PLC. Enables event-driven sending of short messages (SMS) from the Thinget PLC. It is also possible to read out and control the PLC via short message, for example from a mobile phone. Especially suitable for alarming or remote control via mobile phone. The modem is configured from the Thinget XCPpro programming environment. Short messages can be sent directly from the PLC program.

The G-Box also allows easy remote maintenance access to the PLC. You can access the remote PLC directly from your XCPpro programming environment. You can perform program downloads just as if the PLC were connected locally. You can also directly visualize the data in the ladder diagram and monitor and intervene in the status of the PLC and the program.
