Kinco DTools - free programming software for Kinco M2, G and F series HMIs
Kinco DTools is the free programming software for the Kinco HMI series M2, G, and F. The first version of the software was released in the 2010s. Since then, the software has been continuously developed and is currently available in versions 4.x (as of 2026).
DTools Pro is already available as successor software for the new HMI series. Kinco is currently developing DTools and DTools Pro in parallel. The software offers extensive communication drivers for PLCs, many graphics, and functions. Modbus, Codesys, Siemens S7-1200, Siemens !LOGO, Beckhoff ADS, OPC UA, and many other PLC protocols are supported for communication.

- Data logging, diagrams, and connection to relational databases

The current version can be found directly in the Downloads tab. The user manual is available in DTools in the “Help” menu under “User Manual.” The very comprehensive manual for the PLC communication drivers can be accessed in the “Help” menu under “PLC Communication Manual.”
Note: If the elements in the software are displayed too small or shifted, right-click on the Windows shortcut for DTools Pro, select Properties, then Compatibility, and then Change high DPI settings. In the following menu, select the checkbox at the bottom for Override and then System.
